Texas Senator Ted Cruz wants to ban a math book which is used in elementary schools across the country. Speaking before a crowd in Dallas, Cruz supported his argument for banning the book because of its, “Radical liberal left wing crazy ideals.”
The Leuterers investigation team obtained a copy of the book in question. An interesting excerpt in the story problem section reads – “If the government taxes Billy’s billionaire hedge fund manager neighbor 40% of his take home profit of $80 million, how much will the government have left to give mommy to help pay for milk money, cheese, pre-K education, healthcare for his five brothers and sisters, and healthcare for her live-in gender fluid non-sectarian non-binary lover?”
