President Trump today announced he and Pfizer had created a successful Covid-19 vaccine with 90% effectiveness.
The President released a statement with photos saying, “You can see Ivanka doing what I told her to do and you can see us in the lab with me supervising. And the fake news says I watch TV all day long. I told all of you I’d have a cure and I do. I beat the China Virus so I get to remain the President, the greatest President of the last 500 years. The greatest president ever.”
Pfizer spokesperson Ananya Balakrishnan said the company was unaware of any partnership with the President or his daughter Ivanka Trump. Balakrishnan added, “The Trump Administration partnered with and gave hundreds of millions of dollars to other companies such as Johnson and Johnson, Moderna and AstraZeneca but we at Pfizer never took a dime.”
