Holiday travel is occurring at greater than expected levels despite warnings from health professionals, with over a million people a day crowding airports and planes over the weekend preceding Thanksgiving. Leuterers interviewed thousands of traveling Americans via its proprietary Leuterers Interview App. This app allows users to respond to questions and in real time see their answers tabulated with others to form a consensus.
Traveler Todd Barker was responsible for the prevailing answer to the question, “ Are you concerned about the Covid-19 virus spreading amidst holiday travel?” Barker replied, “They said it was dumb not to wear a mask. Now they’re saying it’s dumb to travel. But that’s a double negative so I’m traveling in crowded areas with no mask and that makes a positive. So nope, I’m not worried about any steenkin’ virus. I’m no sissy.”
Barker’s response has now gone viral under the hashtag “ain’t worried about no steenkin’ virus”.
